Redhawk Table Project

In the second semester of my Grade 10 year I was approached by the S.F.DC.I "Big ideas" Director , Mr Seward, to create a collection of table tops for the schools newly opening "Restless Redhawk cafe", after completing the backdrop alongside other students. The Tables were designed with the purpose to represent the school, the town and things happening during the year they were produced. 6 table tops were made during my semester, not pictured is a Vimy Ridge table dedicated to Soliders from the smiths falls area.

Do Not Be Silent, Acrylic Paint, 29 inches

This tabletop was created with feminism and equal rights in mind. In 2017 Canada was celebrating 150 years as a nation while in the female world we were celebrating 100 years of voting rights. Today though we are still fighting for equality between genders and this was designed to create awareness.
