Above all else, art is about leaving a mark; that I existed, I was here. I was happy. I was sad. I was afraid. I was hopeful. I had an idea and I had a purpose. I'm a photographer and multi media artist, who resides just outside of Ottawa, Ontario. I attend the University of

Ottawa, for an undergraduate degree in

Biochemistry with an option in microbiology and

immunology . My favourite place to create art is

in my studio with the music cranked. I like to

shoot in candid when I do photography. It's just

more organic and natural. I love the way I can

capture more realistic reactions and emotions too.

Through taking photography classes, and shooting for my

high-school's yearbook, I have found a love for shooting outdoors, whether it is outside sports or the nature around me. I like to document the world around me, the beauty in simple things people may over look or in places people may simply not see. My goal is to capture happy moments and memories and hold on to them forever. Not lose them in the inner workings of the complicated mind, so I can see the photographs and be taken back into time and relive the moments. I'm always creating and trying new things. I love trying new mediums and have discovered a new love for glass art, both fusing and mosaics, through and artist friend Lesley Avery, artist and owner of Unique Glass Treasures. As of now, my dive into the art world is on pause, due to the high demands of my program, but I try my best to get out and do shoots as well as pursue more art styles and sharpening my existing art skills.
